We are always on a mission to improve your vacation booking process in order to uphold our core value to “hold the traveler experience above all else,” and become the go-to travel company in the US. There are plenty of amazing features with our booking platform, and we are excited to share some of our most requested improvements:

Your Pack Up + Go account will save your personal info, past vacations, and travel companions so you can reference what information you included for previous trips.
Taking another Surprise Vacation with Pack Up + Go?
The Pre-Trip Survey will remember your personal information (name, email, birthday, hometown, TSA “Known Traveler Number”) and will fill it in for you. If you are traveling with a travel companion that you traveled with before, you’ll be able to choose them from a menu and their information will be filled in as well.
You’ll still be able able to update us with your travel history and preferences, as those pieces of information may shift from vacation to vacation!
Streamlined Ordering
Start with Your Trip Type:
If you’ve booked a Trip with us before, you know that you had to select both your mode of transportation and whether you were traveling with a group or going solo. We have simplified the process and now you’ll just select your mode of transportation and it will take care of the rest!
Added Dropdowns:
Not sure what airports are available for departure or what we mean by dietary restrictions? The new booking process will include drop-down menus for you to choose from to make your selections even easier.
Calendar Function for Your Departure Date:
Sometimes travelers enter their birth year or mistype a year in the distant future, but with our new calendar feature for selecting your departure date, you won’t ever have to worry about incorrect years or misplaced dates!
Structured Responses:
Have any time restrictions? The new process offers a menu of structured responses to make sure our Travel Planners know exactly what your time restrictions are so they can make your trip amazing!
Reordered Booking Process:
Travelers will still be invited to select their total number of travelers, interests, travel preferences, and complete the rest of the survey prior to determining their budget.
In the original system, the budget was decided first, but with the dynamic pricing on the new booking platform, it will come last to account for the number of days and travelers selected, departing date, and departing airport (for plane/train trips).
Road Trips Changes:
Road Trip budgets will now be based on the number of hotel rooms you are selecting for your vacation. Budget options will start at $1,000/hotel room (for a 3-day, 2-night trip) and will automatically adjust based on the number of nights and hotel rooms that you select!
Book for Up to 12 Travelers:
Booking a surprise vacation for a group just got a whole lot easier! The pre-trip survey will now have up to 12 spots for travelers, so call your friends + get going.
More Interests to Choose From:
We’re adding 14 NEW interests to the Pre-Trip Survey so that we can provide even more personalized recommendations!
Dynamic Pricing
We’re expanding our pricing to include longer trips (up to 11 days) and holiday weekend pricing to ensure that we can offer you an amazing experience no matter the specifics that are chosen for your getaway.
Longer Trips are Landing!
You know Pack Up + Go as your go-to long weekend source, but with the new booking process, you’ll be able to increase the length of your trip to eleven (11) days / ten (10) nights. If you want to get away for the weekend, not to worry! You’ll still be able to book for a three (3) days / two (2) vacation, and anywhere in between! On your pre-trip survey, you select the number of nights for your getaway.
Also, keep in mind that for your trip, we aim to have you leave bright and early on the morning of your departure date and return on the evening of your return date. If you have any time restrictions for your vacation, let us know on the pre-trip survey. If you don't list any, we'll do our best to have you spend as much time in your destination as possible!
New Budget Options
The primary factors to consider when choosing your budget are your travel dates, number of travelers, number of nights, and the departing airport (only for Plane Trips). If you're thinking of traveling around a major holiday (Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day, etc.), keep in mind that you will have a $ 50.00 holiday surcharge added to your total budget to account for the higher prices on these dates.
Similarly, if you choose only regional or mid-sized airports, your budget/person will be higher than if you were able to depart from a major airport.
The most important thing to remember? Smaller airports and holiday weekends will be subject to a surcharge to accommodate for higher pricing without sacrificing the quality of the experience.
