We pride ourselves on being able to provide an incredible travel experience, which includes our dedicated in-house Traveler Support Team that is always available to help you if things don’t go completely as planned before, during, and after your trip. For any questions that come up, for canceled or delayed flights, for a liaison between you and your activities, or for help with anything else that may arise while you’re on your trip, there is someone just a call, text, or email away!

Your surprise trip will be reserved for you by our Travel Planning Team, but what happens when things change?

Here are a couple of scenarios that may come up and how we can help!


Flight Disruptions:

One common example of an unexpected change in travel is a canceled or delayed flight.

We’ve all been there – you’ve arrived at the airport bright and early for your flight and are waiting patiently at the gate when you hear the announcement: “Flight 867 to Nashville has been canceled.” Luckily, at Pack Up + Go we’ve helped travelers through this scenario a number of times, and are well-equipped to help you handle the situation. Give us a call and we can begin to explore options with you!

We will call the airline’s customer support staff to get you on the next best flight or give you the information you need to do so at the airport with a gate agent.

(Keep in mind that we are able to provide a lot more options in these kinds of situations if you’ve added Peace of Mind Refund Assurance to your trip!)

Changing Your Surprise Trip For Personal Reasons:

Picture this - it’s one week before your Pack Up + Go trip and you’re excitedly scrolling through your “one week until departure email,” when your boss calls and tells you she needs you to travel to a conference next week. No exceptions. Now what? 

We know that things come up! Whether it’s due to work obligations, health concerns, or other emergency situations, a Pack Up + Go team member will work with you to determine your best option for postponing or canceling your trip.

Postponement:

  • If you're able to travel at a later date, we will help you rebook at as low a cost as possible.

  • No matter the situation, there is always a Pack Up + Go Traveler Support Team Member available to make the process simple and seamless so that adjusting your travel plan is as stress-free as possible!

Cancellation:

  • If you have purchased Peace of Mind Refund Assurance for your trip and you are canceling your Pack Up + Go getaway, you will receive a guaranteed refund based on your departure date.

  • If you have not purchased Peace of Mind Refund Assurance, we will do our best to maximize your refund depending on your departure date and refund policies of the airline, hotel, and activities companies booked for your trip.

Help with Pre-Planned Activities:

Whether it’s connecting with a tour, finding your airport transport driver, or getting a copy of tickets you accidentally left in the hotel room, our Traveler Support Team has access to all of your trip details and can help you get on your way. 

We always aim to provide you with all the information you need, but sometimes you might end up outside or across the street, from where you need to be so we’ll do our best to connect you to a provider day of! Additionally, although your surprise envelope is full of information, we realize you may not remember to bring it on every outing, so if you forget a ticket or a gift card, just give us a call and we’ll email a copy you can use from your phone.

So, whether you want to make a date change to your trip, change your dinner reservation, see if you can get onto a food tour for the next day, get some input on a flight delay, or want a specific recommendation for ice cream shops in your destination, we are always here to help!
