Packed Up + Went: An Alumni Group
Since our inception, Pack Up + Go has been fostering a community of people who love the unexpected.
This year, we decided to create a platform for past Pack Up + Go travelers to share their experiences, give advice, and bond on a shared love of surprise travel!
Introducing...The Packed Up + Went Facebook Group!
Packed Up + Went is a sanctuary for past travelers to discuss together and learn from each other. We have all bonded together through our love of the spontaneous, a need for adventure, and an ability to appreciate things and off of the beaten path. Now, we have the chance to share our collective knowledge together to create even more memories.
The Pack Up + Go team is thrilled to have this new platform to offer exclusive content, hear travelers’ inside tips for our destination cities, and allow our alumni to be the first of our audience to see new updates and technology!
Here at Pack Up + Go, we realized our travelers were creating their own communities of spontaneity seekers and spreading the word about our company. Stories of people meeting other Pack Up + Go travelers and developing long-term relationships flooded our office. Through the initiative started by our travelers, we decided to create an official platform to help continue to foster these relationships!
The group launched in October and now boasts over 400 (and growing) members!
Members have the ability to share their Pack Up + Go pictures, discuss their trips, and bounce ideas off each other. All the members in the group have gone on an official Pack Up + Go trip - the closed group requires an order number when members ask to join. This ensures that the group remains a safe place for past travelers to candidly talk about their trip and future travel plans!
